LG G8 render leaks with a horizontal camera setup
LG G8 is set to launch in MWC in Barcelona, Spain this year. This is a successor of LG G7+ ThinQ which is sold in India. Ahead of the launch, LG G8 has leaked with 5K renders and 360-degree video by the folks at 91mobiles along with
LG G8 renders now shows it has a 6.1-Inch display with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. There is a notch that houses a dual camera setup. The only thing that is missing on the front is an earpiece. Now LG G8 is speculated to come with a sound-on-display that is similar to what we saw in Xiaomi’s Mi Mix under-display cantilever-conduction speaker.
There is a USB Type-C port on the bottom along with a 3.5mm Headphone Jack and a speaker grill. The right side of the phone has a power button and a Sim Tray. The left side of the phone has a Volume button and a dedicated Google Assistant button.
The back of the phone is where we see a slight change with a horizontal camera setup. There is a dual camera setup similar to what we see in a predecessor(LG G7+ ThinQ). The fingerprint sensor is still on the back of the phone. The specification is still not known and it is being speculated to have a new Snapdragon 855 SOC.
Overall there isn’t a lot going with this smartphone. We still don’t see LG using In-Display fingerprint sensor or a punch hole camera that we see leaks of Samsung S10’s lineup. The specs are still not known and price and availability are not revealed. We will update it as soon as we know more details.
